Dr. Nicole Fujie grew up in Hawaii and decided to become a vet at a very young age because the island did not have a local vet. So she attended University of Hawaii at Hilo, majored in Pre-Veterinary Science, and got accepted into Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2009, she worked at Purdy Veterinary Hospital. From there, Dr. Fujie has been to a few other clinics in the area and has now called The Pet Doctor her home since 2013. Dr. Fujie has called North Tacoma her home since 2009 and lives with her husband and a very active duck tolling retriever, Tilly. In her free time she enjoys hiking and trail running.
